Welcome to the web-based tool of the Managed Health Network in Ayrshire and Arran. Please take some time to explore the tool and the benefits it can provide. Joining couldn't be easier. In providing other network members with a few details about your area of work or interest you gain full access to all areas of the tool. As well as accessing the knowledge, skills and experience of other members you can add your opinions and expertise to theirs, increasing the overall effectiveness of our combined efforts in improving health..
- This tool has been created to illustrate not only the breadth of work that the health improving workforce is involved in across Ayrshire and Arran but the way in which it is carried out. As more members join the network, more knowledge and experience is brought to it. This in turn means that more work can be celebrated; experiences shared (good and bad) and tools created to help develop evidence and good practice.
- As is the case in most ventures such as this, the process of improving this resource will never stand still for long. To that end, members rely on each other to give feedback, comment, even debate to constantly improve the networks position.
- Information presented here has been peer reviewed, i.e. we try to ensure that the people who are best placed to know what should be presented have either written it or have approved it. If you'd like to become a peer reviewer either contact the administrator or post a comment on the forum.
- This resource has the ability to store an almost infinite amount of resources, from files, documents, PowerPoint presentations and soon even video clips. If you have documents or files you'd like to add, contact either the key person from the details within the section you are viewing or contact the administrator who manages this tool on the members behalf. Finally, this web tool is not owned by anyone, it only exists to facilitate the good working relationships already in existence and to encourage new relationships to evolve, in turn improving health outcomes for our population.
- This site complements the NHS Ayrshire & Arran's public website, www.nhsayrshireandarran.com. The public website is the principal electronic medium for communicating information about NHS Ayrshire & Arran to the public and providing the public with a mechanism to respond and make enquiries.
